Recently, it has been awarded the strict Oeko-Tex class first certification and is allowed to be used in the production of infant clothing and textile products.

DuPont TMSorona walks into consumers

Walter Fields, director of the global division of DuPont Co, points out that through the certification of Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute, Haines provides Sorona the third party applicable to all fiber applications.

Security verification

This will benefit DuPont's downstream customers, and DuPont will cooperate with the entire supply chain to further obtain Oeko-Tex certification.

Part of the Sorona material is to replace traditional petrochemical materials with renewable plant resources every year.

Compared with the production of nylon, the production process of Sorona significantly reduces energy use and reduces carbon dioxide emissions.

Oeko-Tex certification confirms that Sorona polymers do not contain harmful substances.

Danger level

It is also in line with the requirements of the EU REACH and the consumer goods safety promotion act (CPSIA).

In the application of garment products, the fibers made from Sorona can be blended or interwoven with any natural or synthetic fibers, giving the cloth soft handle, comfortable elasticity, good stain resistance and crease resistance, and easy to finish. It can be widely used in bathing suits, body clothing, jeans clothing and all kinds of men's and women's garments.
