Cotton Yarn Price

In recent weeks, the price of cotton yarn in India has been declining due to weak demand and a fall in polyester and short prices. In the past three weeks, the price of polyester and polyester in India has dropped sharply, and 100% pure polyester yarn has dropped the most, and 100% pure cotton yarn has also dropped.

At the beginning of this month, the India 1.4D polyester short fell from 102.50 rupees to 96.50 rupees / kg, which continued to drop to 90.50 rupees in mid June. In the past three weeks, the total price of polyester and polyester decreased by 11.7%, which is consistent with the trend of the import and export of China's polyester and short price.

Affected by the fall in import and pet prices and rupee's continued strong impact on the RMB exchange rate, India polyester manufacturers were forced to lower their quotations. Last week, 100% pure polyester yarn dropped 3.9%, and nearly 7.5% weeks ago. If prices remain stable in the next few weeks, the profits of the mills are expected to improve.

Cotton yarn, although India's domestic cotton prices have not changed, but the price of cotton yarn has also fallen by 2-5 rupees, the blended yarn has been greatly reduced, but demand has not improved significantly. Driven by the drop in yarn prices, India's export sales of cotton yarn may increase.

Pakistan cotton yarn prices drop sharply

In recent weeks, the price of cotton yarn in Pakistan has dropped sharply because of the further decline in the rupee exchange rate and the promotion of the cotton mill before the July 1st tax policy changes.

In the week, 30 of Pakistan's combed yarn fell by 6%, and continued decline in China's exports was also a major factor in price declines.

The price of domestic yarns in Pakistan is relatively stable because the downstream factories need to replenishment. The market believes that sales tax of 10% of cotton and 17% of sales tax on textiles will lead to a decline in textile production in the second half of this year.

In recent weeks, sales of polyester cotton yarn and polyester viscose yarn have increased in Pakistan, and cotton prices have remained strong because of a reduction in spot supply of ginning plants. In addition, the weakening of Rupee exchange rate has increased the cost of cotton imports, and has also supported domestic cotton prices.

In the week, the price of polyester and polyester in Pakistan did not change, and the price of imported polyester and polyester in China increased slightly. In recent weeks, although the profits of polyester and staple factories in China decreased, the 1.4D was stable at 185 rupees / kg. Viscose staple prices have not changed.
